Mission Appeal Weekend
June 28-29
Rev. Thejus (Fr. Thay [rhymes with day] - jus [rhymes with bus]) Peedikathundiyl will be joining Masses on June 28-29 to preach about his mission appeal on behalf of the Schoenstatt Fathers in India.
The Schoenstatt Fathers are part of the International Schoenstatt Movement. There are about three hundred priests assigned to different parts of the world, including the US; in fact, two of them are serving in Wisconsin.
The Schoenstatt Fathers in India aim to develop centers of spiritual renewal, schools, and colleges for deserted and neglected children, predominantly girls, as well as centers for qualified Catholic character formation. They work in parishes, promote faith formation among youth and families, and en-gage in reaching out to the poor and needy, participating in the evangelization process of the Church in India.
For their social projects and the formation of seminarians, the Schoenstatt Fathers of India appeal to your solidarity and ask for your generous support. We will have a special collec-tion for this mission appeal during Masses on June 28-29.
