Praise God!

Our parishioners know to fast one hour before receiving Jesus Christ sacramentally in Holy Communion, except for water/medicine. This so called “Eucharistic fast” includes abstaining from gum, juice and coffee, so we might prepare more intentionally and be hungry for the Lord. The homebound/nursing home parishioners and those who assist should fast at least 15 minutes, unless emergency.
